At their repeated request, we decided to take our children on the trip in 2022. They took part in the Foundation's day-to-day activities. Welcomed on our arrival by Shanti's children, the feeling of finding a kind of family was even stronger this time. Despite the language barrier between the children, it was the human language that took over, with games, dances, crafts and lots of laughter.

The children's memory is impressive, as is the comparison between cultures. We prepared a photo album to show, which fascinated the Indian children, who are eager for knowledge and images.

During the visit to the very modest homes, the very simple questions asked by our children put the emphasis back on the priority of basic human needs: access to a safe, clear, clean place, quality meals and education, ensuring better chances for the future.
